COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Driven by wanderlust and a desire for discovery, the Curious Traveler™ set out to explore the globe. Always fearlessly inquisitive, he relished opportunities to befriend other travelers and to experience cultures he had only previously imagined. He sampled their wares, their foods and most importantly their libations. Some were good. Some not so good. Others were downright dangerous. Many years into his travels, his pace slowed on a particularly sweltering day. He sought refuge in a small pub to escape the oppressive heat. Before he could even finish wiping his brow, the bartender handed him a glistening glass of ale. The Traveler took a liking to the invigorating lemon shandy concoction. “Quite a refresher!” he said gratefully. The Traveler has never stopped exploring – in fact, he’s on the road this very day. Somewhere. Only one thing has changed: he now makes sure he orders a shandy everywhere he goes.

Pretty dang good! This is a great summer beer. Similar to another popular summer shandy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ignore the beer snobs who give this beer a low rating. This is a good damn beer. Full of flavor, not overbearing. One of the few that go good with practically any meal, too.

Delicious! Curious Traveler Shandy is perfect for summer time. I can see that drink is good for women who don’t like heavy or big fans of beers.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. A good flavorful shandy, that was refreshing. I would drink it again

Transfer from BA review on 10-18-12- Served on tap in a pint glass Appearance – Served a hazy yellow-orange colored brew (think watery orange juice with tons of pulp) with a tiny white head. The head faded fast leaving very spotty lacing. Smell – The aroma was rather light. There was a orange aroma with some lighter notes of lemon and biscuit. Taste – The taste was bready and sweet upfront with lemon and a wheat bread flavor. The lemon sweetness was combined with some orange sweetness more toward the middle of the taste. An overall citrus drink flavor was on the tongue at this point. In the end the citrus sweetness seems to grow even stronger, but is also accompanied by a more biscuity flavor, which with the citrus leave a sweet tart (pastry) flavor to linger on the tongue. Quite sweet but delicious. Mouthfeel - The body of the beer is rather light in terms of creaminess and is crisp on the tongue. The carbonation level is on the higher side and when combined with the crisper body, it was fantastic for the lemon tart flavors. Overall – While sweet and citrusy, it is very easy drinking and delicious. This is a wonderful light dessert beer or a thirst quencher on a warmer day.

On tap at Benjamin’s. Lemon, ginger, lime, honey, menthol. Hazy-cloudy amber pale with thin white head. Medium to light body with medium carbonation. Starts medium sweet and tart with citrus, honey, pale malt sweetness. Lemon-lime flavor predominates with honey and menthol. Sweet-tart finish with fruity clean after. Not bad.
