3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at Heritage Liquors in Maplewood, MN. Pours a hazy golden amber colored brew with a thick off-white head that has some excellent retention and thick lacing. Aroma of lemon Sourheads, a hint of golden grain malt and a touch of white bread. Taste is medium bodied, soft carbonation with flavors of white bread dough, lemon extract and a hint of tart mango. Finish is semi-dry with a white bread and mild lemon after taste. A touch more body than your typical German Radler, especially with the extra malt presence.

A shandy. Nothing special but decent. I hoped for more than leinies' shandy but basically the same.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy with a frothy top white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a no visible carbonation hazy weak yellow orange colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was cardboard and licorice. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start with a mediumly tingly finish with a lingering fruity aftertaste. The horrible flavor contained notes of cardboard licorice and fruity. Not one that I would likely drink again.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Wow so this is some serious hipster bullshit huh? old fashioned glasses and art, handlebar mustache, the whole thing except for somebody riding a pennyfarthing. Lemony nose and flavor, and somewhat briny which is odd but somehow quite welcome. Wheatish flavors at the finish along with a lingering faint country-time style fake lemonade aftertaste. I would say its complete crap but for that briny mineral type component which adds both a complexity and a counterpoint to the "lemony wheat beer" base. Quite hazy pale yellow, not much head.

Hazy yellow pour with a white head. Aroma of lemon candy. Flavor is like a sweet lemon soda. Pretty one dimensional and straight forward. It is what it is. Not terrible but not great either.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
On tap at Dan's. The pour is strange. It's a pale yellowish straw color with not much opacity and a thin ring of fizzy white head. The aroma is lemonade, mixed with a thin, thin wheat beer. There is a little malt and a touch of yeast. The flavor is a nice lemonade phase that seems to roll through an adjunct mixture of wheat beer and dish water. The mouth feel is really thin and sweet with an aftertaste that is not lingering at all, and se what sweet with a not so great lemon flavor.
