Bronze, thick frothy head; sweet malt predominsates, trace of hops in background; sweet unappetising aftertaste; a boring lager, had to resort to a packet of Tesco cheese balls to help it go down.

Four-pack of 33cl brown bottles, with an Inca Wall or Mountain scene embosed around each one. What are Peruvian Beers doing in Shropshire, England?
Best before 22 Jan 2009, these were drank and reviewed 24th July 2008.
Poured into one of my Veltins stemmed Tulip shaped glasses. Good deep gold colour, clear and crisp looking. Well formed white head at first, tried to stay around, but failed.
The usual lager no-smell, but a weak wiff of malt could just about be sniffed.
Best tasting South American beer I’ve had so far, out of about 10, all lager based beers.
Full body for a lager, tastes between a German Pilsner and a Dort, obviously the Saaz Hops go a long way to helping the beer seem that way.
I was impressed, only bought the beers to help with my journey of drinking around the world, glad I did. Found this beer again in Brussels: a Peruvian eating joint, they had other Peruvian beers in the window but were for show only, pity.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 AndresTM (185) - Texas, USA - MAY 12, 2012
A clear pale beer, almost imperceptibly darker than the standard pale lager. The aroma is sweet, with honey and molasses masking very subtle hops. The taste is slightly more bitter than the nose portends. It’s best if it’s not super cold, though.

que dice el socio? lo que sucede es que en Perú todo tiene que ver con el negocio.

Got this at a bottle shop in florida. Pretty cool bottle for a twist off cap. Smell is simply clean lager.Half decent pale lager appearance. First taste is typical out of country middle and south american lager. Fairly well behaved, has a touch of lemon in there and I’d say its a little metallic too. Good sizzle on the palate. Fairly enjoyable and well behaved, glad its not old and bitter. Finish does have a mild bitterness building on the back of the throat but its never over the top. Comes across like much less than 5%.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Lowenbrau (302) - SPAIN - APR 22, 2012
Mainstream lager beer. Nothing remarkable. Malt aromas, golden color, with regular white head. Tastes some of bitter, with dry finish. Not too bad as may be expected.

Bottle - Typical piss yellow lager. Not much to look at and not much taste to it. Has a thin body and somewhat of a metallic finish. Probably my one and only tick from Peru.

Golden color. Carbonation medium.
Aromas of typical pale lager. Taste the same...with a sweet aftertaste.
Nothing special but I can stand it.
