I was glad to find a dark version of this popular lager. I was not disappointed. As it's name suggests, it has oodles of malt in flavour and aroma that lasts from start to finish. The burnt chocolate almost coffee like flavours ensure you won't forget this one. Perhaps a little unstable, but a satisfying dark all the same.

Another sweet South American malta. Proudly states that it's made with selected barley, hops and adjuncts. Well I can taste the sweet adjuncts, corn is a pretty popular crop in Peru. I assume that the slight chocolate flavour comes from the selected barley but I can't, for the life of me, detect what may have happened to the hops. There is no bitterness and no hop flavour. Sticky and cloyingly sweet, I was unable to struggle through the pint bottle.

Sampled this beer at a Peruvian restaurant. Its really not that bad and goes well with the native fare. Deep dark brown in color, loosly carbonated - dissipates quickly. Sweet matly nose. Light and crisp palate. Yes the beer is sweet, but its suprisingly big on taste for having such a light palate. The sweetness of this beer is not typical - like a sweet/winey malt - but more towards a sugar or beet sweet. Very unique and different tate. I can’t fault the beer for being of a different/unique taste and it is big on flavor - so overall I thought it was pretty good.

Way too sweet! Like drinking syrup. Or maybe I had a bad bottle, who knows.

Ei, tomppa, se on olutta humulaton. If you can understand my brutal Finnish. But this is very sugary, with some caramelly taste, but mostly just sugary, smooth, and underdeveloped. It is drinkable, but limited.
