Me sorprendío gratamante.

Cusquena Red Lager
Edicion Especial
Nice gentle clear red robe with notes of caramel reminding me of candies. Slightly bitter fro, begining to end. Does not end short , leaves a long lasting bitter sweet flavor in mouth. Nice and refreshing taste, with a rd beer taste you would expect. The bottle has the distinctive wall desing, including the Cusco signature of the 12 angles rock.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Derek881 (729) - Frederick, Maryland, USA - AUG 8, 2011
I drank this beer on my last night in Peru in Lima. It had a malty aroma of caramel and a mixture of grainy and earthy hops. It had a dark red-amber color with a modest head and retention. The beer had a mostly sweet, malty taste with some caramel and a bit of bitter grain as well. It was a fairly smooth beer with low to average carbonation and a pretty dry finish.

Bottle found in a Lima mercado. Copper and clear, with a malty aroma and neutral hops. Well-balanced and light-bodied, clean finish for a decent brew while in Peru.
