UPDATED: NOV 26, 2012 A clear pale beer, almost imperceptibly darker than the standard pale lager. The aroma is sweet, with honey and molasses masking very subtle hops. Inappropriate for the style, I guess, but I like it. The taste is slightly more bitter than the nose portends. It’s best if it’s not super cold, though.

Bottles 620ml and 330ml. Pours golden with medium white head. Aroma is of malt, some fruits. Taste is of malt, fruits, sweetness. Palate: Ligth body. Overall: Not repulsive, but certainly not good. OK alternative to water where the quality of water is an issue.

Needs more malt to make it interesting. Bish sums it up perfectly. That’s why he’s hardcore. I’m hardcore with a lame wrist but I can still shout and jump about like a loon. Y.A.P.Y.A.C.Y.A.T.Y.A.

Aroma: caramel, ripe sweetness. Appearance: golden, clear, underwhelming minuscule head. Taste: overly sweet, minutely bitter, really not much flavor; I wouldn’t recommend drinking this without food! Palate: light body, oily feel, soft carbonation, finishes with overpowering sweetness and abruptly cuts to a dry mouth-feel. Overall: I had this once before with Peruvian food and I would have given it an overall 5/20 at that point in time. For reference, it went very well with Peruvian fried rice, possibly as a good complement to how oily the dish was! Now after my second go-around, I think I’ll be avoiding this one in the future.

Dark brown pour with hardly any head and Sweet malty aroma. Tastes of molasses, nuts, sweet dried fruit and stcky brown sugar. Sweet and flat.
