UPDATED: NOV 26, 2012 A clear pale beer, almost imperceptibly darker than the standard pale lager. The aroma is sweet, with honey and molasses masking very subtle hops. Inappropriate for the style, I guess, but I like it. The taste is slightly more bitter than the nose portends. It’s best if it’s not super cold, though.

Bottle from Sainsbury's. Pours gold with a small head. Grainy taste. Overall it's just another pale lager. But at least it's a tick for Peru!

Clear pale golden color. Smells of stale malts, a little citrus, yeast and light hops. Light palate. Flavor is of malts, hops and yeast. Your typical pale lager. Bleh.

An alright pilsner. About what you’d expect from a basic South American lager. A better than average malt sweetness. Tried with Kent and Nick in Lisbon in 2014.

33cl bottle thanks to Lynn. Appearance - amber with a decent head. Nose - sweet malt and nuts. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and unfortunately quite a sweet finish. Overall - if a session strength lager doesn’t refresh what is the point?

Bottle shared with Nimrod and Yael. Thanks Excellent Little Brother for the bottle! Clear dark gold. A little corny, wet bread aroma. Sweet, DMS, slightly bitter taste. Light body, well-fizzed, corny finish. Thirst-quencher.
