1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 foxo82 (478) - Tamworth (via Leicester), Staffordshire, - JUN 25, 2012Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Pershore Road, Birmingham. Amber, clear, almost headless, dull looking. Aroma is pure skunky, stale lager. Taste: some metal; some Haribo; some stomach acid; lots of water. Fizzy crap which is about on a par with my expectations.

330ml bottle served cold. Pours a golden colour with a foamy white head and aroma of malt, grain. Taste is sweet malty, some grain, with grassy & cardboard notes. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry at the finish. OK lager.

Aroma: caramel, ripe sweetness. Appearance: golden, clear, underwhelming minuscule head. Taste: overly sweet, minutely bitter, really not much flavor; I wouldn’t recommend drinking this without food! Palate: light body, oily feel, soft carbonation, finishes with overpowering sweetness and abruptly cuts to a dry mouth-feel. Overall: I had this once before with Peruvian food and I would have given it an overall 5/20 at that point in time. For reference, it went very well with Peruvian fried rice, possibly as a good complement to how oily the dish was! Now after my second go-around, I think I’ll be avoiding this one in the future.

Mar 2012 - a better than average lager which I would have again. Nothing much to say about the flavour though - nothing that drastically differentiates it from other lagers

Pale gold pour with white head. Very malt aroma, some grain/corn. Taste is predominantly malty, otherwise fairly generic lager like so many others.
1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20 bobaidan (473) - Southington, Connecticut, USA - FEB 26, 2013
Pretty typical of South American lagers. Looks like piss water in the glass. Aroma is very unpleasant. Sweet, and light with very little flavor. Hops are not noticeable in the slightest and what little malt flavor there is does not please.

Bottle in Cusco, Peru. Combination of 11,000 feet and a couple bottles of this makes for a good night! Pours clear golden with medium white head. Slightly malty taste and aroma. A decent pale lager. Enjoyed this many times while in Peru and Bolivia..
