Brighton Beer Fest. This is a lovely beer. A fragrant and sweetly malty premium bitter made by Peter Skinner, ex-Dark Star/Skinners Ales/Skinners Custom Brews, very close to the current Dark Star brewery. There are good hop nips in the finish, and a general feel of a rather splendid ale. Fresh, fragrant, flowery, alive and clean and sweet and just lovely, lovely, lovely.

Cask@Sussex BF. Custom beers kick arse i reckon. This was tasty stuff. Lightly sweet notes of toffee, from the malts i’m guessing, then there is a good dose of citric, lightly floral/aromatic hops in the finish. Medium bitter finish. Well done.
