homebrewer302 (1), Wilmington, USA does not count Jul 17, 2008 Got this beer from the bartender Matt at the Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.
This beer starts off with sweet aroma. There’s really not a presence of hops in the aroma. You can definitely can tell though this is a high alcohol beer. Rich amber coloring. This beer has a HUGE maltiness to it; very full bodied. There’s a sweet start, but an astringent and metallic finish. The palate is smooth, but a little sticky. Little to no carbonation. Overall a fairly good beer, but could probably use even more aging, even though this bottle was nearly 2 years old.
