3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 jb (1601) - Rochester, USA - DEC 28, 2010
Found in a 6 pack, seems to be the latest offering from Custom Brewcrafters. Amber beer, very clear, not much of a head or retention. Big bold nose, citrus and pine hop nose + caramel. Mouthfeel is resinous, hop oil, a tad of maltiness, very nice, very very nice.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 MadRobin (176) - Silver Spring, USA - MAR 27, 2012
On tap sample at Custom Brewcrafters in Honeoye Falls, NY and later poured from 12 oz. bottle.
Clear amber copper with large head that soon settles leaving stunning lacing.
Big hop aroma of pine, grapefruit, pineapple and orange.
Big bitter taste that reminds me of arugula, but amplified. Some orange and tropical fruit flavors.
Fairly thick mouthfeel with a pleasantly soft foamy texture.
A big bitter IPA. Nice aroma, but taste not as complex as some other big IPAs.

3.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 hef1985 (20) - cheektowaga, New York, USA - MAR 14, 2012
This beer is actually surprising in that the color and transparency change from pouring the first half of the bottle (light copper and easily transparent and clear) to pouring the second half of the bottle. For this commentary, I will focus on the latter.
Appearance: Pours hazy orange with a small amount of white head that dissipates quickly. Significant amounts of sediment is evident.
Aroma: Floral with a light undertone of citrus zest. I am not a fan of IPA’s but this is probably one of the best aromatic beers that I have experienced.
Taste/Finish: Initial taste of floral hops gives way to a medium bitter hoppy finish that lingers but is not overpowering.
Overall Impression: Enjoyed everything about it up until the taste, when it reminded me that its still an IPA and still has the bitter hoppiness you come to expect. Although the aftertaste is not too strong. Worth trying.

Bottle 355 ml
Aroma: fresh , hefty dose of hop, herbal, green with hint of black pepper. Softer malty touches on sides.
Appearance: clean amber ale with medium light beige cap. Light lace rings.3+
Body , Flavour , Palate and Final Notes: full bodied. Straight hop character, clack tea, lemon grass, citrus. Mild , oily mid body. Drinkable brew with sweet note to it. Nice everyday bitter brew.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 FROTHINGSLOSH (3388) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 21, 2012
My wife brought this one back from a trip to Rochester. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy caramel color with a medium sized foamy orange-beige head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was faintly sour and hoppy with a odd herbal and off rancid vegetable element. The flavor was bitter, fruity and piney with a tangy vegetal presence that detracted. Long finish and medium body. Eh.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 jsquire (2484) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - JAN 29, 2012
Golden amber color with a thin off white head and unattractive floaties in the beer. Big fresh grapefruit and pineapple hoppy nose. Thin hop juice flavor with grapefruit, apple sauce and orange peel. Long orange peel finish. There is a hop burn on the tongue. Not as balanced as I like an IPA to be.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 BeerHawk (1635) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - JAN 16, 2012
Bottle. Poured amber with an off-white head that left light lace. Aroma of pine and citrus hops. The flavor followed the similar path with pine, grapefruit, and a malt backing. Medium body and medium bitterness throughout.

Picked up a sixer at Consumer’s Beverages in Niagara Falls. Pours a light orange colour with a pretty big fluffy white head. Leaves tons of lacing behind. Smells of hoppy and sweet, some fruitiness in there as well. Tastes bitter, but not knock you out style. A little alcohol in there as well. Not bad.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 arone12 (771) - Maryland, USA - JAN 7, 2012
Pours a dark amber color sort of similar to the color of wood. Off white head that has a red tint. Smells pretty tasty. Flavor is not great. Kind of watery and bitter.

Bottle. Pours a completely-hazy golden brown with minimal head. Almost a floral nose. Taste is somewhat floral as well, perhaps fading into a more piney flavor. Goes down very easily. Good overall.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber with a thin head and aromas of pine and citrus. Flavor is a really nice mix of caramel and a sharp blast of hops. Very nice after a long day of fishing.
