3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 tmongoose (661) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - APR 17, 2013
12oz bottle shared. Poured a cloudy orange color with minimal white head. Aroma of pine and grass upfront with a bit of. Citrus on the back of the nose. For me this is a mild IPA. Now this has a good malt backbone but the intensity of the hops is just not there.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 queenholly (1830) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - MAR 20, 2013
Bottle. Caramel, biscuity malt, and piney orange hops aroma. Deep honey gold with a small off-white head. Herbal piney hops, grapefruit peel flavor. Could use some malt balance. Medium body, soft carbonation.

Pours a hazy dark gold with a thin white head. Citrus and floral aromas. Grapefruit, orange, grass, and resinous notes. Medium body with a hoppy bitter mouthfeel. The finish is somewhat dry but there is a slightly lingering sweetness.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 bagalagalaga (50) - Indiana, USA - MAR 9, 2013
A very standard IPA, not bad at all but not really standing out in any way. I guess this is the IPA to get if you support Hoosier basketball.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Block (1039) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - FEB 13, 2013
Not bad but pretty ordinary. A very mild IPA, I’d consider it a pale ale. Good flavor but not very robust.
3.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 Patrickctenchi (1673) - columbus, Indiana, USA - DEC 5, 2012
Bomber:
Cloudy orange/ amber with a short white head.
Scent is orange malt...
Taste is surprisingly sweet/tart...
Very litttle bittering.
Very tasty, just lacking an "IPA-ness".
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 pauls_parade (339) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - AUG 16, 2012
A little hazy, orange yellow color with a long lasting head and great lacing on the glass. Grapefruit, orange, pineapple, and resinous hops in the aroma. Medium-bodied, smooth, and drinkable, with a lasting finish. Lightly malt with tons of hops flavor - very citrusy. Balanced with a soft bitterness and just a touch of astringency. A decent IPA, easy to drink and satisfying as another brew from Bloomington.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Brigadier (2230) - Bloomington, Indiana, USA - MAY 7, 2012
Guest tap
This was a solid IPA. It wasn’t too harsh nor too dull. I would have no problems drinking a whole bomber by myself. A solid local option for those in southern Indiana, this is the sort of beer that is made by people who care about more than the bottom line.
Aroma / Appearance - The golden carbonated body isn’t that remarkable. Bubbling up from the base with grass and lemon hints it teases the senses. The crisp hops and bright and bitter.
Flavor / Palate - Lemons, oranges, and flat Sprite take a while to settle on the back of the throat. The remaining flavors linger with a light bitterness. The finish is like mouthfeels of dead grass left out in the sun. Overall this is a nice beer but doesn’t quite have the same punch as the truly great IPAs. Even so I would give it a second chance.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 hoosiers1994 (684) - Maryland, USA - APR 29, 2012
Bottle pours golden with a thick fluffy white head. Aromas are grass and metal. Tastes are fairly bland with some hay and mild malt noted. Some bitterness is also noted, but again, mild. Overall, kinda boring.
