COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Years ago whistles pierced the air and the ground literally shook from the power steam. The Monon Railroad helped propel Indiana’s economy from 1897-1956 and earned its name from the convergence of its four main routes in Monon, Indiana. From Monon, the mainlines reached Chigago, Louisville, Indianapolis, Michigan City and most towns in between. Our refreshing Belgian style Wit beer is powered by the memories of the Monon and brewed with lemon peel, orange peel, and coriander for a crisp, tart finish. For an extremely refreshing and drinkable beer, hard working cutters say "All Aboard!" the Monon.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of queenholly. Weizen glass displays a lightly cloundy yellow color with just the tiniest ring of white head. No lace. This brew has a nice citrus aroma filled with orange and lemon along with a trace of coriander. The flavor is spot on the aromas with the flavor being rather pleasant. Palate is light and crisp with a dry texture. Overall, this is pleasant and real easy to drink. A bit above average, I would recommend to any Wit beer lovers who live in Indiana.

My first impression is this tastes closer to a kristalweizen than a wit beer. Wheat and bubblegum dominate the flavor and aroma. The beer finishes sweet instead of snappy like a wit should. Small head, not very cloudy.

Beer tasting. Nothing special. Lots of yeast. A wit that needs more balance.

tap at Ft Wayne OktoBeerfest - Pours hazy yellow and smells of citrus with a hint of spice. It tastes fruity and sweet with some good wheat character. It’s a light and refreshing beer, nothing to get excited about, but it works okay.

Bottle thanks to secret santa! Pour has a golden color with a thin covering of off white head. aroma has wheat, light lemon, some yeast, and mild spice. Mouth feel is light and the carbonation average. Flavor has a wheat base, mild spice, lemon grass, yeast, and a slight sourness. Very drinkable beer with an interesting twist of flavors.

Pours hazy lemon gold, with tall, pillowy, slightly off-white head. Scent is mildly wheaty, some lemon, spice....just a faint bit of farmhouse funk....Taste is a pleasant lemon malt, grain.....tickle of coriander. Very soft, mildly sweet. A very, very nice beer.

This was a solid introduction to Cutters. I was able to try a number of their beers in one night. All were solid but the best was yet to come. However given the heat that is soon approaching this would make a nice lawnmower beer for cooling off on a summer evening.

Aroma / Appearance - A coppery bronze body glowed lightly with a thin wispy head. Grain, hay, and lemons were reasonable but like a little plain. I’ve had wit biers which are better and ones which are worse. This one is somewhere in the middle.

Flavor / Palate - Honey, hay, and lemons transition to a mild and slightly bitter touch. The finish is on the weak side but leaves a memorable impression nonetheless. Overall this might be a good goto beer in the future but I like the other beers in the line better.
