Bontus (57), Belgium Apr 11, 2008 Bottle.
Aroma’s are spicy and citrus, bit like Hoegie Grand Cru.
Appeared aged to me but it wasn’t.
Malty bitterhop finish.
tarjei (1154), Bryne, Norway Aug 29, 2008 25 cl bottle, bought a Ølkonsortiet, Aalborg. Slightly unclear straw yellow, fine white head. Aroma is spicy with noticeable hops. Flavor is fruity (green apple?) with some sweetness, some citrus, malt and bit hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Average. Enjoyit (1090), Vadum, Denmark Aug 29, 2008 Unclear golden of color with a nice white head. An aroma which reminds me of a lager? Notes of hops, light malt spice and fruits. A flavor of spice, sweets, fruits and hops. An easydrinking golden ale. Pinball (391), Allerød, Denmark Aug 28, 2008 okay aroma, looks real nice, cloudy yellow, large head, too sweet , too fruity, pinaablle, pear. weissbier. palate :2, a bit thin, overall okay beer but came at me from too many different angles at once. MBison (374), Southern Highlands, Australia Aug 25, 2008 Bottle (250ml). Poured a hazy straw yellow with a large, thick, foamy, white head which was mostly lasting. Strong notes of lemon citrus in the aroma with grassy hops, fresh coriander, hints of allspice, pineapple, apples, musty malts and some grainy bread. Flavor was of grainy malts with hoppy lemon citrus notes, pineapple, dry pears, coriander and a peppery lightly warming finish. Medium bodied with medium carbonation, a dry mouthfeel, somewhat syrupy texture and a decent finish. Borresteijn (509), Amstelveen, Netherlands Aug 21, 2008 Bottle. Pale yellow/orange colour, white head. Sweet fruity aroma. Flavour is light sweet and fruity. More than average carbonation. Prickly mouthfeel. OK.
