33cl bottle just like in the photo. Pours a clear-cloudy amber with a decent loose head (not like in the photo, at least not in my goblet). Nose has some bubblegum and phenolic spice; in the mouth, stronger such flavors, plus tutti frutti and a faint note of cinnamon. Not a fan; I think 2.4 is fair-to-generous here.

Bottle, 33cL. Fair, Bouillon in July. A pale yellow, light cloudy beer with a medium foamy head ; medium retention. Grainy aroma, fruit (citrus, peach), sugary like a soda :( Light sweet, light warming background, dry note. Light to medium body, average texture, average to soft carbonation, sugary fruity lasting finish. Overall, drinkable but close to a alcoholic soda...

Bottle of 33cl, in a Trappist glass, from the fridge. Great taste of yeast and barley.

6/IV/15 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: VII/15 (2015-417)

Clear orange beer, small aery irregular off-white head, dissipates immediately. Aroma: lots of orange peel, pretty sweet, bit spicy, malty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of orange peel, soft bitterness, quite some honey. Aftertaste: bit oxidized, lots of honey, orange peel, soft bitterness, spices.

Ardennes blonde (not La Chouffe) with off-white, rocky, very thick, very stable, sticky head leaving pretty lacing, and an orangey golden colour, clear but misty after adding deposit, as it should be. Rich fruity nose of orange, pear and melon, yeasty, hints of honey, ginger, sweet white wine, peppermint, straw and a faint sulphuric note reminiscent of fried egg. Fresh apply onset with citrussy freshness, full enough mouthfeel with strong carbonation, smooth caramelly malt background, drying from the middle onwards, finishing mildly hoppy. I usually do not like the Bouillon beers that much, but this certainly is one of their better brews, well-balanced and tasteful.

Creamy citrus aroma with a hint of bitternes. Clear head. Sharp bitter flavour. More cream.
