Reviewed from notes. Tasted from bottle at Lush Roscoe. pours cloudy yellow orange with a thin white head. The nose is sour and tart with some vinegar and burnt rubber funk, lemon, and tart green apple. Flavor is tart and funky with good earthiness, lemon acidity, bread, and some vinegar. The body is light with sparkling carbonation and a long tart and bitter finish.

Bouteille de 750 ml. Arômes de levures sauvages (cidre, brettanomyces), touche d’acide acétique. Robe blonde et légèrement trouble, effervescence moyenne et belle petite mousse. Très intense en bouche, le côté lactique de la bière est très bien développé et on retrouve également un petit mordant acétique (bien que celui-ci est peu présent au nez). Plus ronde en bouche qu’un lambic typique, on retrouve également une pointe d’alcool et une présence de tanins de chêne en fin de bouche. Très intéressant, mais ne possède pas le raffinement des meilleures gueuzes.

A 750 ml bottle shared by the bartender at Delirium. Pours a bright copper color with a small white head. Looks like best by 2012. A sweet dry fruity nose, yeast and dried fruit. The flavor is very nice; sweet fruit, dry old yeasty flavors, not very sour, quite fruity. The pour is pretty opaque. Enjoyable.

colore ambrato scuro schiuma poco persistente.. naso citrico miele di castagno carico floreale delicato legno di botte.. corpo medio note quasi caramellate equilibrio incredibile acidità sublime... birrone!!!

Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Aroma is funk, mold, lemons, hay. Flavor is funk, lemon, cheese, hay, a bit of sourness. Easy to drink, and quite enjoyable. Decent Sour.

Pours golden with a thin white head. Has a sour grape smell to it. Not to funky but a little is there. Has a pretty big sour grape taste up front but finishes watery.

UPDATED: AUG 9, 2010 Bottle. Best before 04 2013, so a little early on this one. Pours a slightly opaque golden color with a nice 2 finger withe had that slowly recedes. The aroma is grapes with notes of sour, if you can smell sour ;o) with the addition of lemon. The taste is sour and tart with the funk. Sourness and lemon zest abound. Pretty puckeringly sour. Light/medium mouthfeel. A very good sour beer. The paper wrapping has to add to the taste, right?
