25.4 oz, bottled July 2007. Clear copper brown with some beige bubbles. Nose is peach, citrus peel and honey. Hints of leather with a peppery sting. Medium body with a faint tingle. Taste is cherry juice and lemon; briefly sweet. Dry, woody finish with lingering tart green plum and pit.
3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 Sonicdescent (384) - Donora, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 18, 2009
According to the bottle, this one was brewed in April of 08.
Pours a little dissapointing, the liquid looks good but the head disappeared before I could move into my living room.
Smell however is much better, I get some lemon, tarty funk. Sour territory.
Taste is vinegary funk over lemon, golden apple, very light tartness that gets bigger at the end. Very nice.
Mouth is a little issue, this is a medium body drink, but I feel the carbonation needs to be a little higher. Not terrible by any means, just some room for improvement or maybe asking to be aged.
This is a good, solid beer that has some room for improvement. I would like to buy one to age a bit longer. Cheers!

Lots of funky fruity funk on the aromas. More on the flavor. Some sweetness too. Pretty darn tasty
4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Nate (3093) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 17, 2009
Sampled at the ’09 RBPTE, courtesy of cheapdark. Light wheat malt and no hops, but a big yeasty, barnyard, cheesy nose. Great sour nose. Hazy light golden amber body with creaym white lacing, lasting head. Light bodied with with lively carbonation and astringent after. Heavy acidic tang, funky yeasty taste, tart and delicious. Medium bitter after. Nice sour.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 weaselkenievil (1093) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2009
Hazy amber gold with thin head. Mellow pear drop and citrus aroma. Just a kiss of tart and sourness, nice long finish. Great mouthfeel, like that popping candy. Fresh but dry and hoppy. Lovely.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Allen (2469) - SWITZERLAND - AUG 17, 2009
Bottled 75cl. Appearance: Murky orange with an average-sized, slightly fizzy off-white head. Some lacework. Aroma: Brett, lemon peel, candy, apple, oak, faint malt, hops, white grape and vanilla- very nice and inviting. Flavor and palate: Balanced sourness. Medium to full bodied. Hints of grapefruit, vanilla, lemon peel, white grape and apple. Long dry finish which is reminiscent of lemon peel and candy. Overall impression: Very pleasant. My kind of Sour Ale. I enjoyed this example a lot more than Rodenbach Grand Cru for example.

This one poured a darker yellow color with a white head. Aroma was very tart, a little funfky and some lemon zest as well. Flavor was typical sour beer, light maltiness, dry, funky some citrus as well.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 KyotoLefty (3752) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 15, 2009
Fruity, soft sourness on the nose, with a bit of lactic and caramel.
Almost flat, light amber color. Nice and different. Looks like home-pressed apple cider.
Sour, fruity flavor, yet quite malty with a bit of caramel. Some warm cherry and apple in the background. Rather bitter finish as well, hoppy; which softened as it warmed up. Very nice balance of great flavors. Great beer to serve very cold and let it warm up on a very hot day. Love the blend.

UPDATED: MAR 8, 2012 Had the pleasure of sampling this at the 7/9/2009 Pittsburgh RB tasting extravaganza (PGHRBEXT) at the Sharp Edge Creekhouse. It will be a long time, if ever I see a spread of bottles like I did there. I am not good enough for the beers that were that we served! For example, how about this beer; Deranke Cuvee: Funky barn aroma. Definite lambic smells. Cloudy pale yellow. Some biteer bite in the background of an otherwise very tart and enjoyable sour brew. Quite interesting and entertaining. Farmy flavors all around. Very similar to cantellon iris. I think I detect some hop bitterness on the finish. Very good beer tasting experience.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 FROTHINGSLOSH (3388) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 11, 2009
Sampled from a 750 ml green bottle this beer poured a hazy bright yellow color with a small white head. The aroma was tart and fruity and reminded me of sweettart candies. The flavor was very tart, bitter and dry with Sweettart candies dominating. The finish was long and a bit vinegary. Eh.
