Waah, it’s a three hotdog Friday night and I need something decent to disperse all that pink goo, gots ta keep the fluids movin’. So naturally I turn to the Belgians for such things, digestion is great in Brussels I tells ya. This one’s got a mighty fine gueuze head, nice orange-gold body and plenty of carbonation. Soft gueuze aroma tempered by some more traditional malts, hazelnut, graham cracker, that kinda thing. Flavour is hay and burlap funk but the sometimes harsh sourness of the lambic eases off thanks to the mix of regular "sour" ale. Pretty good, very drinkable, really good spot for a lambic n00b to start.
