Bottle, 75cl. It’s a clear, golden beer topped by a minimal-sized off-white head. Tartish, citrusy and barnyardish nose with leather and horse-blanket. Citrus, barnyard and leather in the mouth, medium bodied, dry and tart, finishing quite lemony. Overall, really pleasant indeed. 100115

Sample at the HSC Sour Beer Tasting on 06/19/2010: This brew is a hazy orange color with a medium thin and foamy ivory colored head that recedes slowly. Sticky rings of lacing on the glass. Funky aroma with notes of green apple, citrus and oak. Medium body with a moderately sour character that has flavors of grapefruit, apple, oak and some sweet malt in the background. The finish is fruity and tart and lingers awhile. Pretty good Sour overall.

Thanks to whoever brought this to the Carolina Crew tasting. Nice light orange pour, clear and vibrant body. The nose is only moderately acidic, though this impression may be distorted given how many super sour beers we enjoyed during the tasting. Some lightly citric characteristics along with funk give this a fairly distinctive profile. Nice lively mouthfeel, enough carbonation to bring out some of the subtleties of the wood and citrus rind. Nice surprise to finally try this.

The aroma is awesome - such a smooth sour presence. The aroma is a thick opaque, rich honey color with a very small head. The flavor of a proper smooth sour with delicious thirst quenching body that wants you to drink more.

Orangish gold pour with a nice sized white head. Mold and cheese aroma up front with some wet toothpicks. Flavor is a bit tart with some dank wet cork. Reminds me of exploring an old damp basement...or as some call it...superdave70’s ass.

Thanks to thirdeye11 for sharing this bottle at a recent tasting. The beer pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. The aroma is tart lemons with some oak. The flavor is more of the same with a lot of tart lemons mixed with oak, some vanilla and Belgian yeast. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A very nice sour beer that I hope to try again.

Bottle shared at a recent BA/RB tasting... Poured hazy yellow/golden. Aroma was vinegary but the flavor was a little more timid. Still amazing. The tart yeast was accentuated with bittersweet fruits (berries) that developed the souring finish.

(750ml bottle best by 4-2013 via trade with BA ArrogantB) clear golden orange with lasting white head and excellent lacing. Nose of wet barrel, funky cheese, musty, mossy. Taste of wet wood, tangerine, very tart fruit, raisins and lemons. Soft velvety carbonation with a decently long lemony finish. Nice!
