.75 bottle. Yellow, hazy. Very obvious sour-ale aroma with slight dry fruity funk, light vinegar notes, barrique and apple seeds. Dry acidic body. Overdry tart apples, a bit of hay. A really funky tart sour ale. Long lingering, intensive, with a lot of different nuances popping up. A bit heavy on the vinegar though.

75 cl bottle, shared with my GF. BB04/2018. @ The Capital, Leuven. Aroma is sourish, stables, granny smith apple, lactic. Cloudy blond, white head that quickly fades, some sparkling. Taste starts soft, dull, wood and then slowly turns into more sour, apple, but some wood stays. Sour finish. I liked this at the start of the weekend!

750ml bottle, BBE 08/06/17. Pours a surprisingly dark yellowy orange, quite opaque with haze. Decent-sized white head. Aroma is apple peel, vinegar, light balsamico, light barnyard funkiness. Taste is a lot of apple skin, quite a bit of sour. Quite a bit of vinegar, white balsamico, bitter orange rind perhaps. Hints of unsweetened berries: black currant and red currant, cranberry, lingonberry. Quite stiff with a lot of carbonation though not too much. Supremely quaffable.

Tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, 29/09/13. Lightly hazed golden amber with a moderately sized off white head. Nose is tarte orange, light piss, funky, lemon rind, honey, damp straw. Taste comprises tarte lemon dipped straw, bitter organge pulp, grass, funk, barnyard notes, cobwebs. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, tarte finale. A most decent sour affair !

Lots of nice elements in here that come together very well. Very drinkable - on the lighter side of sours. Light bretta, some apricot, sour apple. Finishes with light sourness and some bitterness. Palate is very nice. Bottle at Zwanze Day at Volos.

A lovely and soft compromise between lactic acid and malt. 750 ml bottle from bert’s bierhuis. Lemon peel and a hint of toasty malt aromas, not hugely funky, not enormously aromatic. Pours deep orange/light copper, dense off white head, lingering a bit. Super fizzy on the tongue. Nice rich mouthfeel, enough body that it stays more of a sipper than a chugger. Tart at first; underripe nectarines? toast and melanoidins follow, balanced puckery astringency at the finish to remind you that there’s lambic in here. This is a great all-rounder for sour beer lovers.

On bottle from Beerplanet.be. Golden hazy color, good foam. Aromas of stable, leafs, some fruitiness and good yeast influence: high aroma intensity. Also barrel influence to aromas . Medium body & high complexity. Solid sourness, some bitterness- but well balanced for this style. Very enjoyable

Oud bruin blandad med lambic alltså. Låter ju genialt, och det är det ju också naturligtvis. Härligt balsamvinägeraktig som en rodenbach och samtidigt finns där lambictoner. Härligt
