Bottle 75cl @ <a href=http://ratebeer.com/events-detail.asp?eventID target=_new> Zythos Bier Festival 2008, Sint Niklaas, Belgium. Unclear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, sour, grapefruit - citric, apple tart - sourness. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter, moderate to heavy sour with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Very nice ;o)) (020308)

Bottled. A pale amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of brettanomyces, horseblanket, and wood. The flavor is acidic with notes of wood, brettanomyces, and sour berries, leading to a tart finish.

ZBF2008: From bottle. Pours hazy orange with a dense white head. Citric and acidic brett aroma, slight dry. Flavour is smooth dry and woody with a light orange and citric touch. Goes into a mild brett finish and light malty note. Remains orange to citric fruity.

Bottled, thanks Danko! Cloudy golden, lively head. Tart citric nose. Lemon and barnyard. Medium-full body, spritzy rounded mouthfeel. Honey and caramel with notes of butter under the funk. Mildy warming. Intense and really tasty.
