Bottle. [thank you, dedollewaitor]
[at dedollewaitor’s Odense tasting]
Pours lightly hazy amber with a small, frothy, off-white head. Aroma has cherries, light yest, quite funky tartness and light toffee. Fine, quite lively mouthfeel. Super flavour, stunningly balanced, light toffee with a great fruity tartness. Wonderful.

Maria (8579) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAR 13, 2009
This beer has a beautiful bronze color and the head is limited. The aroma is sour with notes of horse blanket, fruit and caramel. The flavour is sour with light notes of vinegar, wood, horse blanket, sweet fruits and the finish is sourish and slightly dry.

Cloudy amber with a small off-white head. Great funky brett aroma, lots of grapefruit. Sweet and fruity at first, tartness and some bitterness makes it perfect, with background notes of alcohol and wood.

Corked bottle. Light amber color, hazy. lemon, grapefruti, oak and leather in the bretty aroma. Sour flavor, oaky with lemon. Dusty with some flowery hops. Plums and leather. Lambic dominates the character of this beer. Leathery vinous aftertaste with a considerable dry out effect. Excellent!

Draught. Amber coloured. Unclear. Dense light brown head. Vinegar, light sweetness, spice, earth and light barnyard in the nose. Quite intriguing. Sourness, grape, berries and vinegar again in the flavour. Quite dense and complex. Has a dry grapish mouthfeel and is medium to full bodied.. Ends on a refreshing grapish note. This is a very nice beer.

Bottle… This beer rocks!… Cloudy amber/gold ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Decent retention. The aroma is totally funkadelic. I buried my nose in the glass and let my feeble mind go… olfactory-numbing funkiness… bacteria… cheese… leather... saddle… pasture… pale grains… aged, earthy hops... and on and on. Tastes sweet right up front, but that’s quickly raked under by moderate, funky acidity and very firm (for the style) bitterness. Medium to full-bodied and milky with ticklish carbonation. Tart, lightly bitter, tongue-numbing finish. A big THANKS goes out to boboski for sharing this great bottle of beer!
