4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 minch25 (550) - Medford, USA - OCT 30, 2009
Clear orange gold, bubbly, light head. Very sour aroma, rather attacks your nose. There is some fruit in there as well, reminds me of the same fruit in Cuvee de Castleton. Nectarine, peach. Those come through in the flavor, and the carbonation comes off as a slightly prickly texture, further reminding me of peaches. Moderately aggressive sourness. My goodness this is good stuff. Has a lot of the juicy fruit flavors that even a lot of lambics don’t usually have. A bitterness in the back that I might describe as "cherry pit" in some other beers, only here I would call it peach pit. Delicious.

Sometimes things come as a present that needs to be discovered. Girls presents them self as a presents for instance. Likewise this bottle that is wrapped in white paper will tell -you that you are in for a treat.
You are close to the taste of af traditional slim Gueuze-body. But here you will have an extra voluptuous body. Something to grab on. Its both due to the alcohol and the more fat taste deriving from traditional beer breewing techniques. But you will also get extra taste from the alcoholpercentage and hopping.
Last time a had it was in a horse stable New Years eve. Good company and beer indeed.
