75cl bottle. Cloudy brown, heavy sediment. Small off-white head. Nose is sweet, toffee, treacle, some soapy hop. Touch of biscuity and a slight hint of diacetyl. Mouth lively, propelled bitter, followed by a hint of tobacco, plum, cherry stone, under-ripe berry. Sweet, long end. Quite an enjoyable beer.

75 cL bottle shared, back at the Hasselt Beer Weekend. Notes getting messy at this point. I remember an attractive, muddy brown beer. Flavor was a little bitter, a little roasty, some darkfruit aromatics and a somewhat dry finish. No spicy bullshit sticking out, just a good dark ale.
