3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 ml purchased @ Nikki’s Liquors, Providence, R.I. Snifter shows me a perfect cloudy gold with thin white head with retention. Nose is fruity with a nice candy sugar notes. Flavor has Belgian yeast, pale malts and honey. Secondary flavors show the sugar and fruit that reminds me of apples or perhaps banana like esters. Texture is dry and sweet. Glad I got to sample this, nice!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cloudy blond bier. The head is large and white, for a moment, and then it is small and white. The aroma is weak and consists of light arid varieties of wild yeast. The flavor is subdued and is grassy, wild yeasty and malty. Its altogether pure and refreshing. Very mild and would be sessionable if it weren’t for the 7.5.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
75cl bottle, picked up from the surprisingly impressive Aligro cash and carry in Geneva and shared with the Indian. Cool bottle! Poured a curious bright pale yellow with a billowing head. Quite light and restrained in aroma and flavours, some spritzy citrus, a light floral hop bitterness that isn’t overpowering but definitely grows, some yeast. Not sure if I’d have called a Tripel but who cares, it’s a nice enjoyable lightish but flavoursome ale.
