3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A golden yellow coloured beer with a frothy, but weak white head. A potent aroma, firstly of citrusy hops, then a mellow maltiness comes through. Dry mouthfeel. A tangy, grassy hop taste to start, citrus fruit and a hint of pine. This is followed by a smooth malt flavour, biscuity and slightly sweeter. The finish is dominated by the hoppy element.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
It appears hazy yellow and comes with a pretty round opal glass. Head dissolves quickly. The aroma is predominantly of herbs, spices and citrus. So the taste is overall bitter, but with some honey sweetness touching the tongue at first. Light body and lively carbonation. It is popular with students in the Belgian city of Ghent. Though not outstanding, it can replace pints like Jupiler or Maes (beware of the 7% alcohol, however).

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pale yellow body and quickly dissolving white head. A little bit roasty flavour with some hints of caramel. Ok but a little disappointing beer as a belgian beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Gulbrun litt tåkete med kremete hvitt skum som ligger. Malt, druer og sitrus. Søt smak fra malten og sitrusen i lukten, men også lett bitter syrlig smak. Fyldig og rund, ganske kort ettersmak.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Faintly hazy yellow with an abundance of carbonation bubbles clinging to the side of the glass. Some head remains after pouring, white and coarse. Mild Belgian aromas there of some sourness and lemon peel. Mild on the nose. Spritzy and them lemon again before sourness and tartness come through in the flavour. It’s a bit of a yeah/nah beer this one. Yeah, it’s not bad, but nah, I’d move on to something else once I had finished it. A hypothesis I shall endeavour to prove shortly.
