2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pale yellow body, very pale for a BSA. Apple and caramel malt nose. Taste was very dry but with a malt character as well, apricots and other tart fruits. Clove and cinnimon. Dry palate, quick finish. A poor man’s Orval.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. The aroma is sweet and fruity, reminds me a little bit of a sparkling wine with lemonade. The head is small, white and fizzy, very fast diminishing. The body is orange and cloudy. The taste started a little bit sweet, then it gets more sour. The finish is normal and mild. A lively carbonation with a light to medium body and a creamy texture. A good but rather mild Belgian Strong Ale.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Medium-fine homogenous foam which quickly disappears, nice light amber colour.
Sweet fruity aroma, fresh.
medium body, not really fizzy but still fresh.
Extremely well-balanced; sweet but not hoppy or alcoholic.
The only complaint is that this has the freshness of a drinking beer, but the taste is so loaded that it is a sipping beer. Lovely but not useful.
Nb: This is the first beer I taste after a two week cold, so I may just be really happy ;)

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
250ml bottle into tulip glass at the Belgian Beer Cafe in Brisbane. An amber ale with a decent sized white head. Aromas of honey malt, citrus and mild spiciness. It is remarkably light bodied for a 7% ABV beer with similar flavours to the nose. The finish is quite sweet. Nothing stands out but it is quite a pleasant easy drinking beer.

(BBE 2/09) Dark yellow colored with cloudy appearance. Medium sized white head. Fruity aroma with spices dominating, some paper and mild alcohol also here. Medium bodied. Flavor is lemony-fruity with paper also, some toffee also comes up. Aftertaste dries with mild alcohol too. Rather dull one.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Cloudy golden body with a creamy white head. Malty aroma with a little yeast and some citrus. Some banana in flavour but mainly malty with a touch of hops and spice. Average bodied. Pretty dull but the alcohol is well hidden.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours orange with a small white head. Aroma of malt, citrus and yeast that pretty much carries through to the flavour. Has a weak palate, this beer is nothing exciting for a strong ale.
