bottle, which i got for flemish girl... she should know better!! (she didn’t have it, so i forgive her). Hardly an aroma, smells a bit sour is if any. taste is not complex, a bit fruity, not worth telling much more about it.

Bottle. Pours a hazy pale golden colour with lots of floaties and a short white head that diminishes quickly to surface cover. Sweet, spicy aroma has notes of yeast, apples and caramel. Flavour is similar but strangely subdued: yeasty but not particularly spicy, grainy and sweet, with hints of apple, pear and apricot. Light, dry mouthfeel with low carbonation and a short, sweet finish. Not particularly good but drinkable in small quantities.

Plenty of head on this one, clear yellow tone with plenty of head, very nice. Aroma is soft fruits, sour notes, some grains, quite appealing but not overpowering. Taste is equally appealing with plenty of hops and a few grain hints thrown in, not at all syrupy, great mouthfeel. Very easy to suck back, very nice brew.

250ml bottle. Pours hazy pale orange, white head dissipates to a bare rim. Faint aroma of oranges. Taste is a little sweet with orange and apricots. Oily mouthfeel is slightly lightened by some remaining bubbles. Slightly spicy finish. Dull.

Pale blond appearance with medium white head that settles quickly; not much lacing. Aroma of bread and black pepper. Malts dominate the palate, with some light spice and summer fruit in the background. Light body. Not a bad beer, but on the plain side.

Sweet and spicey aroma with alcohol notes. Tastes like sweet spiced pears; watery and alcohol notes. Gold color.

Ethereal (2421) - Los Angeles, California, USA - DEC 31, 2009
On tap at ’Au Fut et a mesure’, Lille, 12th Dec 09. Very clear yellow gold. Very small head. Soft lychee flavour with a dustiness at the start of the sip. Too little aroma. Palate is light and the flavour fades fast.

Bottle - 330ml. Cloudy blond body with a thin white foamy head. Fair malty/hoppy aroma with grassy hints. Taste is well balanced, but it lacks complexity. It carries honeyish notes and ends with a decent bittersweet finish.

Dogbrick (10892) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 8, 2009
Bottle from La Maison Belge in Puerto de la Cruz, Canary Islands. This beer pours a somewhat murky golden yellow color with a medium off-white head that dissipates slowly. Thick rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, fruit and flowers. Medium body with flavors of yeast, fruit, toasted malt and mild spice. The finish is yeast and fruit and lingers a little while. Slightly above average overall.
