UPDATED: AUG 26, 2003 Gold ale. Fresh hop aroma. Some malt in the body, palate not really aromatic.

Bottle. Small head with very short duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are yeast, malt, citrus and fruits.

(Bottle, BB 25/01/2008) Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of floral, grass, soapiness, and mustiness. Flavor of yeast, malt, light citrus, and earthiness.

275ml bottle at Baltic Fleet, Liverpool. Golden, lasting white head. Creamy hop aroma. Nice and yeasty in mouth with some golden syrup. Sweetish alcohol runs into the finish that has delicate hop. Just about makes the balanc between sweetness and drying hop finish. Slightly too sweet for me. Still, a nice Belgian golden beer

26 ratings, and only one from North America. It appears as though Smokeless Joe's is the only place on this rock where you can buy this beer. Another continent-wide exclusive! Put that in your map room and smoke it. The glass is frosted so I can't see the beer all that well - looks light tan, with a moderate head. Slightly bready aroma with notes of pear brandy, apples, white pepper. Comes over crisp - a combination of firm malts and understated prickles of carbonation. Lightish character holds the beer back - slight alcohol dryness, with sweet malts cutting in late. Cross between a Duvel-style and a saison...good but seems incomplete.

Bottled. Sparkling, golden beer with a white head. Sweet, malty nose with some fruity hops and a tiny hint of alcohol. The flavor has sweetness and some cellar, and it’s quite fruity. Medium to full body, with a quite pleasant finish of sweetness, bitterness and some cellar. (060513)

Hazed blond body topped by big white head. Aroma is sweet, bready, yeast, floral. Taste is medium sweet, herbal, some grassy, some bicuit, finishing herbal/medicinal. Medium body that hides the alcohol well.

Hazy golden with short lasting head. Sweet aroma with yeast and fruits. Fruity flavor with spices, orange peel and a bitter end.
