3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A: The pour is a hazy light golden color with a very sturdy, creamy white head on top.
S: The nose is sweet and bready with a slight spiciness to it--seems to be peppery. The hops are earthy and work well with the nose.
T: The flavors are what you’d expect from the nose. The malt dominates and is bready and slightly sweet. Like a lot of Belgians, the yeast provide a lot of flavor to the beer and in this case, a subtle fruitiness. The hops are once again earthy and provide a bit of bitterness.
M: The body is on the lighter side with a full carbonation and a crisp feel on the tongue.
D: Not a mind blowing beer, but a nice little Belgian. Unfortunately, a little pricey, so I don’t know if I’d bother with this one again.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle, bought @ Vinspecialisten, Vejle. Pour is a little muddy and a very pale yellow. Head looks creamy, but very small at first, but it quickly disappears completely. Aroma is bready at first with some peppery and pine-like tones. A little apple and pineapple as well. Quite spritzy for the type. Flavour is relatively spicy, lots of yeast, some herbs and very dry. Not the best example, and seems more like a Saison than a BSA.
