4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled at the Danish Beerfestival 2003: Light golden coloured. White head. Aroma reminds me of a belgian wit. Fresh, spicy and yeasty. Hops in the flavour. Very smooth mouthfeel. I quite like this beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle conditioned, 330ml at A ge Panne, Schin op Geul, NL Limburg. Gold with white head. After a tricky return back by bus from Aachen (roads were blocked etc.) a beer was required and this hit the spot. Light and hoppy (yeeha) with a spiced background (boo). Decent and long bitter finish bumps up the mark. not bad.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A: The pour is a hazy light golden color with a very sturdy, creamy white head on top.
S: The nose is sweet and bready with a slight spiciness to it--seems to be peppery. The hops are earthy and work well with the nose.
T: The flavors are what you’d expect from the nose. The malt dominates and is bready and slightly sweet. Like a lot of Belgians, the yeast provide a lot of flavor to the beer and in this case, a subtle fruitiness. The hops are once again earthy and provide a bit of bitterness.
M: The body is on the lighter side with a full carbonation and a crisp feel on the tongue.
D: Not a mind blowing beer, but a nice little Belgian. Unfortunately, a little pricey, so I don’t know if I’d bother with this one again.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle in the flat in Brussels. Pours mostly clear, yellow-gold, lightly effervescent with a small, creamy white cap. Aroma holds dry orange, dry dough, hay and white sugar. Medium to big sweet flavour, lots of dough and cereal malts, white sugar, alcohol, creamy straw. Full bodied with average carbonation, lightly warming to finish with lots more sugary, doughy malts, dry cereal grains. Not too much going for this guy.
