Pours a clear darkyellow beer, fine white head that dissapates quickly. Smells like caramel and orangepeal, some citrus. Pleasant mouthfeeling with lots of carbon gas. First a sweetsour taste that is immediately replaced by a spicy hoppy bitter and the taste of bread. Aftertaste is very hoppy and dry with touches of citrus again.

Very fruity with slight honey aroma. Pale yellow cloudy colour with good head. Nice rich honey flavour with fruit hints in the finish. Light body with low to medium carbonation.

On tap at the Merry Monk Albany. Clear golden yellow with a light head. Fresh grassy citrus aroma. Taste was crisp, refreshing, and very balanced. Cereal grains dominate, with a delicate grassy hop adding a touch of bitter for a delicate balance. Finishes between sweet and dry - extremely refreshing. Cereal grains and pale malt linger on the palate long after each sip. Light on the palate and dangerously easy to drink. If you are looking for a refreshing beer, look no further.

Nice golden body with light haze and stable white bubbly head. No residue. Refined yeast and hop focused aroma. Fresh dough and grass. Foamy but pleasant carbonation. Light spicy bitterness in the taste, ending not too long. Well drinkable and very refined yet not subdued Belgian blond. Like it a lot, better than expected. Not as old fashioned or boring as many Belgian blonds/tripels are. Classic appeal, full of flavour. (22cl bottle from De Bierwinkel Leiden)

Served in a tulip glass. Pours cloudy gold with minimal head. Aroma is of malts, caramel, bread and a hint of fruits. The taste is rich in malty and bread flavours. Rich mouthfeel without being sickly, and very smooth. Lovely!

Draft at Toad in the Hole in brand (frosted) glass. Clear enough gold with lasting white fluffy head and streams of bubbles. Grainy, slightly dusty, mild berry aroma. Big corn on the cob and subtle aromatic wood flavors. Dries out well for a balanced finish. Rewarding pilsy burps.

Average head. Yellow, slightly hazy. Fruity fragrance, some yeast. Low carbonation, balanced sugar level, some bitterness and promising aroma that doesn’t quite follow through. Citrusy flavor, but not emphasized. Lacks the staleness of many Belgians though.
