On tap at the Merry Monk Albany. Clear golden yellow with a light head. Fresh grassy citrus aroma. Taste was crisp, refreshing, and very balanced. Cereal grains dominate, with a delicate grassy hop adding a touch of bitter for a delicate balance. Finishes between sweet and dry - extremely refreshing. Cereal grains and pale malt linger on the palate long after each sip. Light on the palate and dangerously easy to drink. If you are looking for a refreshing beer, look no further.

33cl bottle from a friend. Best before 2013-07-03. It pours a pale golden colour with no head. Aroma is grass with notes of hay. Flavour is sweet and fruity. Notes of belgian yeast, grass and malts. Medium long aftertaste. Overall a decent beer, but nothing more.

Nose is yeast, touch of caramel, touch of straw, hey. Taste is caramel, cream, short dust, yeasty finish. Moutfeel is fine. Underwhelming.

I’m not sure if this is brewed by trolls or if they are an ingredient. Honey, fruit, caramel, a touch of spice. Or maybe that’s the troll?

Golden with a white head. The taste is citrus and a little spice with some marmalade and mango. A syrupy mouthfeel. Light and refreshing. Quite enjoyable.

Bottle from R.Leclerc, Riberac. Poured a clear, mid golden colour, with a thin white head. Aroma of malt, honey and grain. Crisp flavour, not that typical for the style; some caramel and soft fruit in there. Finish was quite lager like with some zesty lemon and bready malt.

25cl bottle from Auchan. Pours pale gold with persistent white head. Fairly sweet Belgian sugar aroma, taste is a little bland and weak, comes and goes without leaving much of a mark.

Honestly can’t remember this much except that it wasn’t great and the label caught me off guard. But it’s in the notes...it’s a Belgian Strong Ale that was not so tasty I can’t say much else honestly.

Very fruity with slight honey aroma. Pale yellow cloudy colour with good head. Nice rich honey flavour with fruit hints in the finish. Light body with low to medium carbonation.
