Pours hazy golden, thin white head. Aroma is very Belgian. Coriander, cloves and candi sugar.
Flavour is quite simple. Bit metallic, grainy. Warm alcohol, sugary sweet. There is a faint mustiness, herbs. Dry finishing with lingering coriander.
Perhaps this bottle is quite old, but it seems all about the dryness and yeast character.

Pale blond appearance with medium white head that settles quickly; not much lacing. Aroma of bread and black pepper. Malts dominate the palate, with some light spice and summer fruit in the background. Light body. Not a bad beer, but on the plain side.

Sweet and spicey aroma with alcohol notes. Tastes like sweet spiced pears; watery and alcohol notes. Gold color.

On tap at ’Au Fut et a mesure’, Lille, 12th Dec 09. Very clear yellow gold. Very small head. Soft lychee flavour with a dustiness at the start of the sip. Too little aroma. Palate is light and the flavour fades fast.

Bottle - 330ml. Cloudy blond body with a thin white foamy head. Fair malty/hoppy aroma with grassy hints. Taste is well balanced, but it lacks complexity. It carries honeyish notes and ends with a decent bittersweet finish.

Bottle from La Maison Belge in Puerto de la Cruz, Canary Islands. This beer pours a somewhat murky golden yellow color with a medium off-white head that dissipates slowly. Thick rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, fruit and flowers. Medium body with flavors of yeast, fruit, toasted malt and mild spice. The finish is yeast and fruit and lingers a little while. Slightly above average overall.

Fresh and fruit nose. Clear colors with a good foam. Honestly the taste is rather short and the palate rather light. Furthermore, it goes straight to the head. Not worth drinking.

Small 25 cl bottle. Golden colour. Sweetness, corn, light palate. Not very complex for a belgian ale.
