Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of fruits, malt, yeast, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, yeast, wheat, spices, and fruits, leading to a bitter finish.

On tap. Lots of hops like Agent Provocateur, but there’s actually almost enough body and sweetness to match it. Much better than the amateurish Agent Provocateur. So Craig Allen isn’t completely useless.

Weicher, mild hopfiger Beginn. Ebenfalls milder Mittelteil, die Hopfennaromen haben eine angenehme Fruchtnote. Gering herber Abgang. Nett. 11/10/9/9/10/9

From bottle at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Copper with big offwhite froth. In the nose passion fruit hoppiness dominates. Good bitterness, even a bit earthy and spicy notes in between all the fruit. Oscar should be proud.

A white beer but an amber colour. This beer is a white beer made by Craig Allans but the colour is amber and copper with a heavy white head. Smell is flowers and sugar, really good impression. First taste : hops and flowers, after taste : hops.

Draught. Pours a dark amber, with a big fluffy beige head. Fruity aromas, well toasted, wheat, grapefruit, herbal hop notes, yeast. Dry, medium body, low bitterness, creamy CO2. Roasted, hoppy taste, yeast, wheat, grapefruit, chocolate, and quite grapey notes from the Nelson hops - elderflower, blackcurrant, lime. (2011-04-11)

375ml bottle from Cave a Bulle.

Appearance : Hazy dark amber med foamy white head. Some lacing.
Aroma : Wheat and piny hops. Fruity hops but with something weird. Some oxidation maybe. Odd fruityness in there that is not very pleasing.
Taste : Wheat with resinous and piny hops. Finish lots of wheat with resinous notes. Some caramel. Finish is quite bitter and dry. Slightly astringent.
Palate : Soft carbonation.
Overall : Nose is quite disturbing. Taste is not bad. Nice wheat with nice hops. The dry-hopping is not that pronounced. Quite disappointing.

375 c&c from Cave a Bulles. Hazy, red to amber SRM with a generous beige head. Soapier retention and soapy lace. Nose is odd Nelson hops with Vaseline and some oxidized cinnamon apples reminiscent of acetaldehyde. Taste is blander, minerally, tangy green apples with a long, rustic grain bread taste. Fairly bland. Subdued coconut and pineapple in the nose. Tart apple taste with grain bread and mineral water.

Corked bottle from L’Abbaye des Saveurs, Lille
Hazy dark amber color with red shades and generous head. Nice aroma of fruity hops, some passion fruit, and spices. It has a good body strength, wheat and caramel flavor, some passion fruit, and maybe too much yeast; there is moderate residual sweetness, which is a nice addition.
Pretty good.
