33cl bottle with the usual Bouillon no BB dates.

Abio (1550) - Waasland, BELGIUM - DEC 12, 2010
Golden coloured, a medium head, sticks nice to the glass, but colapse a bit to quick to 0.5cm head. Smell is sweet-earthy. Some alcohol, good spices. Taste isn’t bad. Nice yeast inside, some spices, lightly citrus. Pretty decent balanced, but misses something extra. Better then expected.

Off-white head, fast receding over orange-tinted golden beer. Sweet nose, white candi sugar, CO² intoned, grains and pale malts, slightly flowery & grassy. Alcohol warming up. Much drier taste, spiced grains, bit of Kümmel, and garden herbs. Rather nice, but warming spoils it a bit in the way of sweetness, alcohol coming on. Creamy MF, alleviated by a spritzy carbonation; maybe medium bodied. Bit neutral overall, but in its genre a rather nice blonde. I just fear it’s not the kind of thing you want in your hipflask if you’re doing a forced march...

33cl, as Cuvée MESA Blonde, new exclusive brew Anno 2008, from De Hopduvel Gent, not complex brew, yet balanced, clear, good head, simpel brew

Re-tasted. @ home (bought Marché de Nathalie, Bouillon) Hazy golden, with good white head. Aroma sweet, malts, some spice. Medium body. Taste sweet, malts, bit yeast, hops, and bitterness. Not bad. Exist also in dark version.

Bottle. Tanks to Peter in Belgium. Pours hazy golden and has a small bubbly white head. Aroma is little grassy, banana and yeast. Flavor is fresh from hops, yeast and sweet marmalade.
