Full marks on looks, lovely dark ruby colour with a small head. Smells a little fruity tastes a little fruity. Good amount of fizz helps make it nice and refreshing although theres not much of a flavor, bit of an aftertaste leaves you wanting more. goes down well but remains fairly average.

Handpulled cask at the Wellington Arms, Bedford. Dark amber with an off white head. Dry malty flavour without too many hops. Rather bland I thought.

Cask conditioned handpull at Wenlock, London. Pale chestnut colour. OK aroma, watery body in mouth. Not much depth of flavour. Finish has some citrus acidity. Not very exciting.

Cask-conditioned at the Wenlock Arms, 30/1/08. Deep amber coloured with a slight off-white head. Aroma had some sweet malt and earthy hops. Flavour was dominated by diacetyl - the butterscotch was overpowering. Poor.

Sweet and not bitter as one may think looking at the name. Regular one, not dark but neither blonde at all.

Aroma gives some citrus hops aswell as blackcurretn mabye off the malts, but its not that fruity and doesnt seem to achive much. Taste is similar with more caramel coming off the malts and a reasonably bitter finish.

BCA (from Southwick Brewhouse). Starts of reasonably well with good hop aromas and toasty malts. More malty in the body but an annoyingly thin sharp yeasty finish detracts from this.
