Cask@Chelmsford BF. Smells like old men. Farty, cabbagey aroma, old spice. Some oaty malt, but i couldn’t really get past the aroma, sticky mouthfeel.

Beer #13 at Chelmsford Beer Festival, with Duff. Oh dear - pale undeveloped malt, smoky tobacco and boiled vegetables. Very odd. I’m sure it’s not meant to be like this. Let’s put it down to poor beer festival conditioning and give it another go if the opportunity arises. The score has been shaded up accordingly. A drainpour - and that’s very rare for me. Cask (gravity dispense).
