Bright bottled, from the Thurrock Beer Festival.
Dark brown almost black. Roasted malt aroma with a very slight sweet toffee note. Bitter, dry flavour with long bitter finish. Espresso finish.

Bright bottled at Cambridge Fest. Fresh notes: Wow! Coffee assault! Swet and drinkable. Tasty job! Score 3.6" O yes - bags of coffee in this dark beer (stout, porter, mild - whatever!), with some good red fruits coming through in a refreshing manner. I have to admit I took this out of the fridge a couple of days ago and forgot about it - it’s in good nick, but perhaps a little too warm. My score now would be a little less than when I sampled it fresh at Cambridge - so I’ll go halfway.
