Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Dark mahogany with a small beige head. Ashy aroma with some honey malt in the background. Malty taste with a late and rather watery cloying sweetness of a type I don’t really like. Slight bitterness.

500 ml bottle, 5,2%. Clear mahogany body with a beige head. Aroma is pretty straight forward malt and caramel. Flavor as well, plain malt and caramel with a certain degree of bitterness. Drinkable but pretty average all the way.

Roasted & smoked caramel sweet malt. Nice deep copper color. Complex aroma - nutty, spicy, syrupy, burbony, woody, bittery. Low carbonated. Dry roasted sweet aftertaste.

JFURYCAT (1007) - East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 26, 2008
Smokiness inherent in the aroma and aftertaste with some sweet malty raisin tones which seem pleasant to the mouthtone at first but become dominated by a sour charcoal like yeasty-ness. Overall, not a bad beer except for what lies in the finish.

Botle from Bitter Virtue. Sweetish brown bitter with unpleasant phenolic yeast flavours. Poorly bottled and the beer itself seems underwhelming

bierkoning (8107) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - FEB 28, 2008
Bottled. Amber color. Toffee and a hint of licorice in the aroma. Sweet, malty, salty flavor with licorice and toffee. A bit onedimensional and thin, but certainly not unpleasant.

Bottle. Reddish brown beer with a weak head. The aroma is very weak with a hint of malt. The flavour is quite flat, weak and mildly malty and dry. Overall a poor beer.
