at Tangelo’s in Gulfport. ive had bad experiences with Peg’s, so glad was able to try something of theirs finally. hazy gold, like a wheat ale. aroma is citrus-y, flavor is similar with a nicely well rounded hop profile. honestly not as bitter as i would have thought. might even like it better than Jai Alai.

On draft at Cigar City. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is some sweet malt, some light citrus character, and some grassy hops. Flavor is similar- light malt, some grass, and just enough citrus to make this beer really nice. Light in body and virtually perfect for Florida- really sessionable and easy-drinking.

Fairly heavy hop bitterness. Tastes a bit like the bitterness with wort into the fermenter. Dry and light; crisp. Dank and pine. Columbus, maybe?

This is a great ipa offering from Peg’s!! Awesome juicy citrus nose with a good hoppiness. Flavor is full of juicy citrus with mild bitterness that pairs well. Plenty of bold grapefruit and fresh grassiness. I’m all over this at 4.9%!!
