COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This 4.7% hop bomb is loaded with New Zealand hops bringing out passionfruit, pineapple and other exotic fruit aromas balanced with a mild sweetness and lingering hop finish without any bitter astringency. Straw colored and light in body, satisfies those craving hops but not a ton of alcohol as well as lighter beer drinkers looking to try something new.

Pint pour at Peg’s of an odd color yellow, somewhat bright. Nose is good citrus with plenty of grapefruit. Sharp. Flavor is somewhat off, good hop presence but a little funky? Maybe it’s just me. I can’t quite place it. Nice smooth body.

Sample on tap at the brewery during RBWG. Hazy golden orange color. Thin off-white head, leaving great thicker lace. Lighter body, good full feel. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Moderate bitter taste, light to moderate sweet. Light slick texture. Nice grassy, kind of piney mild hop, with a solid biscuity bready malt. Solid SIPA.

My Bottom Line:
This slender New World Pale Ale develops plenty of tropical fruit and bitter resins in a frothy and easygoing body.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sizeable head of foam produces some lacing while dipping into the cloudy pale blond.
-The tropical fruit spans from lemon to guava.
-Hops also produce sandy undertones.
-The very soft carbonation feels natural, which increases drinkability.
-Malts are mostly supportive here, even if they do build a few straw notes.

Freshly canned at the brewery taproom.

On tap at the brew house -- a very light straw yellow color. Aroma is straw, grass, citrus, lemon peel. Flavor is more bitterness than aroma or hop flavor. Decent, I preferred their Fixie more.

Big can courtesy of Paul. Pours a light hazy golden body with nice white lacing. Aroma is super funky, grassy and wheaty. Mouthfeel is super soft and delicate - definitely sessionable; with notes of pineapple, funky hops, funky dank character, slightly sweaty profile, wheat and grass. Really nice session ipa with huge funk character dominating.

Sample at Peg’s Cantina. Slightly hazy amber-gold color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit, hops and biscuit malt. Light-bodied with flavors of melons, citrusy hops and toasted malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a topical fruit and hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
