A Collaboration between Cycle Brewing and Johnathan Wakefield of the soon-to-open J. Wakefield Brewery. An imperial porter brewed with dulce de leche (milk caramel or milk candy).

200ml, draught at Mikkeller Bar. Bright naked surface. Close to black coloured body. Sweet chocolate malts on the nose. Creamy chocolate taste with coffee and a hint of liquorice followed by a touch of grassy hops towards a bittersweet ending. Fine bodied. Nice (Copenhagen 26.05.2013).

Draught. High creamy off-white lasting head. Pitch black body. Coffee vanilla cream aroma. Smooth coffee vanilla flavor which is a bit too sweet for my taste.. Solid roasted malt base. Little hops bitterness. Sticky. Low carbonation. Long finish.

Draught@Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Very deep rubyish black colour with a mediumsized brown head. Aroma is liquorice, smoked wood, some mild toasted notes as well as some slight coffee and chocolate. Flavour is fruity, chocolaty, some liquorice, mild toffee as well as some coffee and mild burnt wet wooden/ashy notes. Smooth.

Draught @ Mikkellerbar, Viktoriagade. Pours black with a beige small head. Aroma is sweet with coffee, roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, burnt malt, smoke wood and condensed milk. Taste is moderate+ sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium, texture is smooth, carbonation is soft. Finishes roasted and bitter.

Draught at Mikkeller Bar. Pitch black coloured with a medium sized beige head. Sweet and roasted aroma of dark chocolate and caramel with notes of condensed milk and burnt sugar. Sweet and roasted flavour of caramel, dark chocolate, burnt sugar and creme brulee. Roasted finish. Too sweet.
