Best pumpkin beer of the year. Not too sweet but still has a bit of pumpkin pie aspects to it. Palate is smooth. Very enjoyable. Had an rum barrel aged variant.

Brownish red colored pour. Small light tan head. Little lacing. Big oak smell. Pepper, vanilla, caramel. Taste is amazing. All the nose comes back with a slight acetic note in the end. Mmmm. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sample pour of moderate gold. Nose is quite light, pumpkin mostly, light seasonal spices, light hops. Flavor is also light, pumpkin and smooth spice, faint vanilla and light light hops. Not bad and it’s growing on me. If it weren’t 10%, I could see myself drinking a couple of these.

as a pumpkin beer, this one is up near the top. they keep the spices at bay so its not as sweet and sugary as some of the bottled beers out there. really good.

on tap-pours a thin off white head and musky brown/orange color. Aroma is medium malt, then pumpkin. Taist is grainy/medium malt-earthy caramel, then pumpkin/nutmeg. Better warmer and becomes perfumy too.
