Draught@CBC2015. Slightly hazy golden colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is topical fruits, some grass, citrus, pine and mild toffeeish and sweet maltiness. Flavour is a nice balance between the sweet maltiness, the bitterness as well as the sweetish fruity and floral notes. Refreshing and balanced IPA.

Sample during RBWG Tampa, 2015. Golden pour with a modest white head. Bright citrus aroma on the nose. Plenty of lemon. A bit of herb garden and general dank greenery. Light, pissy lemon sherbet flavor. Restrained malt profile. Ebullient, engaging character. Very good.

Tap. Light grain and light bread for the malt, moderate pine for the hops, light soap and musty dankness for the yeast, with apricot in the background. Head is average size, frothy, white with excellent lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color clear pale amber. Flavor starts moderately to heavily acidic, then finishes moderately acidic and bitter. Palate is on the lighter side of medium, slick, with a lively carbonation. A little simple but this IPA packs plenty of punch to make it a go to beer.

Clear lemon gold with thin head. Light malts and clear expression of the citra hops. Nice clean, dry finish. Really good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bonus mega-can thanks to Bytemesis! Poured cleared golden with a white head and thick lacing. Aromas of grapefruit, mango, pine, and light malt. Flavor is mildly sweet. Thank you, may I have another?

Poured from a growler courtesy of FloridaMan. Aroma is super hop forward. Lots of juicy tropical fruit with mango, papaya and melons. Some lighter citrus with a bit of a dank note. Some lighter citrus and pineapple. Light cracker malt backbone. Pours a hazy, golden straw color with a large, moderately thick, slightly off white head that shows nice retention as it falls into itself. High lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with a medium light cracker malt note. Moderately strong to strong bitterness. Lots of hop flavor with tropical fruit, especially mango and some lighter melon and passion fruit. Some light citrus and medium light dank notes. A hint of alcohol. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a very nice IPA. Lots of juicy, tropical fruit notes with some balanced citrus and dank notes. Good, light malt backbone to carry all the hop notes.

Draught @ CBC2015. Pours very hazy pale golden with a frothy white head that leaves some sparse sticky trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is fruity and grassywith crackers, grapefruit juice, mango, pineapple, passion fruit, star fruit, lychee, freshly cut grass, pine needles, minerals and lemon zest. Taste is bitter, fruity and grassy. Mouthfeel is dry, slightly astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter with crackers, grapefruit juice, tons of tropical fruits, freshly cut grass, pine needles, minerals and lemon zest. Great dry, fruity and fresh IPA.

Crowler. Aroma is super juicy tropical fruit and mandarin oranges. Tastes the same and it’s pretty awesome. Mild sweetness and a mild bitterness. Nice oily mouthfeel. So smooth and crushable.

Pours light yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is a very pleasant pine with a tinge of the tropics. Taste is definitely pine but not super resinous. There’s an overall dank quality to this ale, but not much of the tropics in the taste. If your one of those who craves a good IPA every now and then, this one fits the bill.
