Back In the day, it was ruled that Rye would only be used for making bread. That didn’t last long.. Rules….We all know how we feel about rules! Especially mountain bikers! These guys are risk takers! Trails, tree roots, mountain sides, just don’t matter! We took that same mentality, along with the risks, creating this beer. Rather pale in color, having a sharp, complex, grainy flavor, and well…you guessed it..HOPS!! No rules for this beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Much better than the other beer I had here. Some citrus peel and a touch of pepper. Bitter orange. Orange cloudy pour with good head and lacing. Bitter finish. Not bad, but a touch too astringent. Tap at the local at houston airport.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Houston airport. Golden straw color, hazy, thin head. Pretty good lacing. Citrus aroma. Citrusy, light and fruity. Pleasant. A nice grainy rye backbone. Hop balance was nice. This is pretty good.

Amber pour with a thin white cap. Good hop / malt balance with a spicy rye kick. Good stuff.
