Bottled. Thx Peter Slightly hazy dark amber. Almost no head. Very sweet in both flavour and aroma. Brown sugar in abundance. Flat. More like svagdricka.

Bottle. Dark brown with a head of medium sustain. Aroma of coffee, malt, caramel and earth. Light sweetish dunkel taste of coffee, even some fruitiness, caramel and low on bitterness. Easy going dunkel.

Quack-Duck (5921) - Down South, GERMANY - JUN 24, 2011
bottle from Piotr & Paweł in Warszawa - Żolibórz. Brown colour, large beige head. Aroma of caramel and coffee. Smooth palate, not overly sweet, lots of caramel and espresso coffee, shy hoppy finish. (the label says it was brewed by Browar Gontyniec, but the capsule says Browar Czarnków)

Bottled@The 2nd ES/CS Beer Tasting. Ambery brown colour, small head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, herbal, some mild caramel malts as well as mild earthyness. Flavour is caramel malts, fruits, herbs and some wooden notes. Fruity, wooden and caramelly aftertaste.

ClubGonzo (1978) - Bergen, NORWAY - APR 20, 2011
Bottle, shared with Palme. An Irish Ale from Poland? Interesting enough. Pours a dark brown body with a reddish hue and a small, off-white head. Aroma is dark fruity tones with hints of malt extract. Not too promising. Taste is a bit better; sweet malt extract notes still dominate a bit too much, with some hints of toffee. Fair enough, but far from great. Once again I’m not very impressed with the beer styles of Eire.

Palme (1437) - Bergen, NORWAY - APR 18, 2011
0.33l bottle shared with ClubGonzo. Pours a clear deep deep amber body with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malt extract with fruity hints and some bread. Body is medium and somewhat oily. The carbonation is quite low and subtle. Tastes much as it smells: sweet malt extract, caramel and hints of hazelnuts with a slightly hopy aftertaste.

Bottled. Clear brown, small head. Fruity and very sweet with medium body. Raisiny, wort-like flavour, reminiscent of many non alcohol beers. Low bitterness. Not good.
