bottle from Schroppfy - bardzo dziekuje! Hazy golden yellow, large white head. Malty nose. Robust malty base, grainy, hints of buscuits. Lovely aromatic hops throughout - bitter-sweet character. Full-bodied, full of flavour. In a blind tasting I would have sworn that this was a delicious beer from a small Czech brewery - a superb Bohemian Pilsener!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Schroppfy (2328) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - SEP 11, 2010
I’ve had more of this beer so far after 3.5 weeks than any other; probably 7 bottles in total (and this is my last one on hand). Sharp, starchy aroma, stings the nose. Grassy hay hops, stringy (EKG?), but not in abundance. The beer is pretty effervescent at first, too, which adds to the pointed nature of this beer. Flavorwise I get some saltiness, some light bread (watered down), some honeyed sweetness. Better than the sum of it’s parts, this beer, but not by much.
