Bottle @ "Det er meget mørkt i Ulfborg", November 2012. Pours clear amber with bubbles on top. Nose is deep and vinous. Caramel, hazelnuts and honey. Some fruit. Warmth from alcohol.

Pours clear amber with no head. Aroma has notes of prunes, raisin, alcohol, spices and honey. Taste is medium sweet and light sour. Body is full, texture is sticky, carbonation is flat.

Bottle.Pours orange and still.Aroma of dark berries, prunes, spice, honey and yeast.Flavor is spicy and sweet with some fruity and honey notes.Medium body, still. Nice spicy mead.

Bottled. A chestnut colored mead. The aroma has strong notes of honey and caramel. The flavor is very sweet with notes of honey, raisins, and nuts. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.

Bottle, 75cl, at RBNAG -09. A clear, golden mead, still. Honey, heather and gingerbread on the nose, a bit more spiced than I like. The flavor is even more spiced, with honey still dominating. Full-bodied, yet watery. Pleasantly warming. Cardamom and ginger in the finish. A decent mead indeed, but too spiced. 091107
