3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A - Deep brown to black color with ruby hues on the edges. Large beige thick, creamy head. Good retention with a fair amount of lacing left over.
S - Strong rich coffee smell is upfront and in charge. In the background there is some roasted malt and a hint of chocolate, but these all definitely take a back seat to the coffee.
T - Strong dark roasted coffee taste hits the mouth. The first couple of sips, it is hard to pick up anything else. Then some more roasted malt, slight chocolate, lactose and vanilla come out. There is a slight bitterness to the taste, but when the later flavors grew a bit stronger, it gained a bit sweeter taste that complimented the bitterness.
M - Medium body and moderate carbonation. Fairly creamy.
D - Pretty good drinkability, but it really depends on how much you are in the mood for coffee flavors. Bitter and sweet are well balanced.
Notes: Not a bad beer, but it is somewhat reminiscent of an iced coffee as it is a bit one-dimensional. A pretty good coffee beer that is worth trying though. I had it after dinner and it made a very nice digestif/dessert.

Tap @ Piv. Dum. Pours dark brown with a creamy lasting head and lacings. Cold coffee nose. Quite raw and one dimensional. Taste is like chewing on coffee beans. Medium , dry and sticky.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nice beige head, dark medium to full body and soft carbonation. The fine coffee flavour attain me as i taste it. But it was one-dimensional with this coffe note, and it was served too cold.

Similar to their tmave, but with extra coffee. I prefer the more subtle original.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at the brewpub, shared with a friend (thanks Ivana!)
Poured a murky dark brown/red going black with an off white head that went away really slowly. Strong caffe latte nose, pleasant malty and cofeeish taste, light roast and bitterness. Quite tasty.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dark brown with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of coffee beans and chocolate, really nice for someone like me who is generally not a fan of coffee beer. Sweet toffee malt flavour, with just a touch of coffee. Rather plain

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dark red-brown colored with little beige head. Coffee dominates this aroma with some milk chocolate tones. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is also roasted coffee in start, aftertaste turns to sweet and caramelly. Rather watery palate, otherwise ok.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
(sampleglass at pivovarsky dum, Praha) It was a clear, dark amber beer without foam. The aroma is pure coffee. the taste is of roasted coffee. The palate is light and the aftertaste is... coffee.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
on tap at the brewery pours dark brown, medium tan head, good lacing. Coffee ice cream aroma. Light roasted malt, sweet coffee, and dark fruit meet a smokey dry finish. Creamy low carbonation mouth. Easy drinker, and the coffee works well with the dark maltyness.
