COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dark lager with a fine and yet significant coffee flavour (coffee extract added). Very popular especially among our female clients.

Draught at the brewpub. Black - no head. Aroma: Coffee, chokolate. Taste: coffee, chokolate, roasted, light malty. Thin and watery body. Served with coffee beans on top - just for show. Strange - boring !!

Draught at Pivovarsky Dum, Praha.
The best Dum beer that I’ve tried. Dark brown coloured with a two coffee beans on top of the firm pale brown head. Strong coffee ice cream nose. Strong roasted malt and coffee aroma. Very smooth with some bitterness in the finish.

UPDATED: JUL 5, 2008 Interesting , deep brown /balck in colour, lots of roast malt aroma and coffee roast malt flavour... TK 2 Tap at brew pub ... Deep brown ... huge coffee nose ...nice rounded coffee tones ... smooths good malt base ... reminds me of a good porter with a shot of Tia Maria in it.

Mungo (2471) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - SEP 6, 2006
Draught @ Pivovarsky Dum. Darkish reddy brown with tan head and coffee beans. Sweet milky coffee flavours and underlying roasty malts. Although not overly sweet the sweet flavours soon become boring.

Dark amber, almost black. Offwhite head. Coffee aroma, some cocoa and tar with sweeter notes. Sweet coffee flavor with chocolate notes. Some bitterness in the finish. Good, but a little thin in my opinion.

Draught at the brewpub. Pitch with a little mahogany peaking around the side. Tan, creamy head. Smells strongly of coffee with some coholate; finally, a strong aroma from this brewer! Taste is a bit of a letdown, though, not as strong as expected...light-bodied, coffee, coffee grounds, and dark chocolate. Medium-dry finish.

Draught at the brewpub.
Dark brown color, small white head. Mix of chocolate and coffee in the scent. Lots of lean chocolate taste, lean mouthfeel. A little bit of coffee in the aftertaste. A bit acid taste. When I sampled this a year ago I can remember not liking it at all. Either they’ve changed their recepie or I’ve gotten more used to these types of beers.

Tap @ Brewpub. Dark woody look with neat creamy tan head. Refreshing, pleasant coffee aroma. Very good roast, dry mocha, chocolate. I can’t recollect better coffee aroma in beer before. Mocha, milky flavour. Some acidic character below. Great roasty character aroma was not translated into flavour.
