Here’s a tasty one! Very dark brown beer with a thin light-brown head. Lovely coffee aroma with malty caramel and vanilla notes. Flavour is also malty and shows loads of coffee. Very smooth body with a slightly bitter finish. A very tasty brew.

(On tap at the brewpub) Really great this brew. It has an aroma of real coffee, not just coffee malt. Cloudy, black-brown coloured with a brown, lasting head. Again a real coffee taste with some bitterness. When you like coffee, you like this beer.

Draught. Black with light brown head. Served with a coffee bean on top. Looks and smells like a porter, sweet and malty. Wow! This is actually quite close to Young’s Double Chocolate. Tastes of coffee, but resembles the bitterness of chocolate quite clearly. Rather low carbonation, but that suits the beer OK.

A massive hit of fresh coffee says everything about this beer. It's everywhere from the aroma to the finish. I'm not a massive fan of these "novelty" beers, but this one works pretty well. I suppose it helps that I'm a coffee fan! (Tried on draught at the pub)

Sampled draught at Soldaten Svejk, Stockholm, Sweden.
Near black with decent head. Huge mocca aroma. Roasty and light bodied with clean, slightly soft mouthfeel. Medium sweet with very strong coffee flavour and medium to low bitterness.
